I grew up in Texas. I met the love of my life in college. I didn't realize he was the love of my life until 10 years later!!! We are having an amazing life together. I couldn't ask for more! We have a lab mix named Chance. We rescued him from a local Humane Society. We are currently living in Boston.We miss Texas & our family and friends very much. I love my Mexican food! I have to have it every time we are in Texas.

I'm an Arkansas girl transplanted to RI for almost 15 years so I totally understand missing family and TexMex! Some days I'd kill for a Sonic Vanilla Dr. Pepper!! We have family spread all over TX and were in San Antonio before Christmas visiting my in-laws. I managed to get Sonic but no Tex-Mex. There's just something wrong with that! Anyway, nice to 'meet' ya!
I waited about 6 years to get my Kitchen Aid and I don't know why I didn't save money to get one earlier!! I have used it almost every week since the end of Jan! I recently learned how to shred chicken in it! (I'll stop here to refrain any more jealously/anomisty) =)
Sonic's are VERY slowly creeping up here to the East Coast. We finally got one in Bayonne, NJ about 20 min from me. I've been going quite often since its in the same parking lot as Michaels! (Mostly drinks, if I ate there, I'd be way fat!)
Check back here as I try & make some Tex-Mex food just to have it. Nice 'meeting' you too!
